PADI Rescue Diver + EFR Course

OVERVIEW: This course is focused on adapting to a new style of diving. What you didn't care about before will now become important. You will learn how to plan and think about the options you have when faced with a problem. During the PADI Rescue Diver course and in case you don't have an updated first aid course, we will do the EFR course (primary care, secondary care and defibrillation).

THEORY: For the theory part we will give you a manual and a DVD, or you can choose to have it online and save on paper. You will have to read the manual in order to complete the simple knowledge reviews that appear at the end of each of the 5 topics in the manual. In our classroom we will correct each knowledge review and answer all your questions. At the end you will have to complete a multiple-choice test.

PRACTICAL PART: You will do 5 dives here in the sea of Cabo de Palos during the morning, one every day or two every day, according to your preferences. In each dive you will have to perform a series of exercises of self-rescue and rescue of a diver, both on the surface and on the bottom. It is about taking care of a diver with problems of fatigue, pulls, snags, equipment problems, panic and unconscious diver, hemorrhages, etc... Once we have practiced the 10 exercises we will do simulations in a dive situation.

ORGANIZATION: This course must be planned in advance, as it is very interesting that there are several students, so you can see how others do it. During the year we will plan several courses, keep an eye on our calendar of events to see which is the next PADI Rescue Diver course. We will dedicate a theory session for each dive and half an hour before each dive to explain the exercises and techniques, review some concepts and .... to the water.

REGISTRATION: You send us an email to receive the registration form, fill it out and make the payment of approximately 20% of the course. We will send you the material to start reading and watching the video. We organize dives in the sea and you don't have to worry about anything but ENJOY AND LEARN. You are becoming a diver capable of preventing accidents.
